How GW began:

In 2013, the sisters worked together to design and build a wooden sign for their parents for Christmas and it brought their parents to tears. They knew they were on to something special. They loved collaborating with each other to make beautiful heirloom pieces for friends and family.

In 2014 Grainwell was born, evolving from a passionate hobby. They started in their parents' garage and in one year grew into their own wood shop and retail store. In 2017, they separated their boutique from their wood shop in order to streamline manufacturing and to allow more space for growth in production.

They now have a small team comprised of all women who are responsible for both the design and in-house manufacturing of all their products.

Grainwell's specialty lies in creating custom and personalized signage, along with unique gifts, awards and decorative items for both the home and office.
